Sunovion strives to create engaging online communities that share information in meaningful ways that we hope is received positively. While we encourage open, respectful and thoughtful discourse, please keep the following guidelines in mind when participating in our social media communities.

We work in regulated industries and because of the unique legal requirements of pharmaceutical companies, we cannot engage in sensitive topics or discussion(s) about products – ours or other companies' – or treatment options on our channels.
When you engage with any of Sunovion’s social media channels, you are agreeing to these Community Guidelines in addition to the Terms and Conditions, privacy, cookie and any other legal notices provided by Sunovion and those of the respective platform (e.g. Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube).
Please be thoughtful and civil when sharing opinions. The user audience’s comments and responses on our social media channels are from members of the public and not posted by Sunovion. The content of these comments, including opinions and statements, do not necessarily reflect Sunovion’s views and are the responsibility of the individuals posting them. Sunovion reserves the right to remove posts. We may moderate, respond to and/or remove comments, @mentions and replies that:
- Mention other companies, products or brands;
- Include profanity, defamatory, libelous, offensive, abusive, discriminatory or demeaning content (including images, videos and links);
- Are disparaging, threatening, condone violence or illegal behavior;
- Offer health or medical advice;
- Are commercial, e.g. sell products and services, or recruit fans and followers;
- Are repetitive, disruptive, off-topic or spam;
- Provide personal information such as an email address or phone number;
- Infringe another’s copyright or intellectual property;
- Include proprietary, confidential, sensitive, or nonpublic information.
Due to the public nature of the social media platforms, we do not recommend sharing personal information – especially health information.
As a pharmaceutical company, we continuously monitor for comments regarding product side effects and complaints. If you mention these, we may need to contact you to find out more information.
If you believe that you have experienced any side effects or reactions from a Sunovion Pharmaceuticals product you should consult your physician, pharmacist or other healthcare professional immediately. You can also report these to us directly by calling our Drug Safety & Adverse Events department at 877-737-7226.
Like other companies, Sunovion will periodically share content from other social media channels (i.e., third-party content). Sunovion has no control over these third-party social pages and cannot guarantee the accuracy of this information.
